Hi there ladies, as some of the 'oldies' lol will know, my little lady Paris has a heart problem.

Every year I take part in the "heart stopper challenge" as part of heart children awareness week in May to Raise money for heart children NZ, and wrangle my fellow neonatal nurses into forming a team with me.

This involves getting a team together and getting sponsors, the team then plunges into ice cold water for 5 minutes, this is meant to symbolise what heart kids go through when they have heart surgery, as they are usually cooled down with icy slush to slow their heart before being put on bypass for their operation.

It's really freezing!!!!! (you kinda go numb after about a minute) but still, I do it every year as Heart children is a really good cause and such a great source of help and support for families with children that have a whole range of heart conditions.

ANYWAY... I was just wondering, if anybody would like to help out by sponsoring me to freeze my butt off for another year.
