No idea if that helps. oh and one has a zip down the side the other a zip up the front but the join part is at the top and zips downwards<br /><br />Not a hard pattern to copy, just getting the right material to make it warm i suppose]]>

You need to do either 2 layers of merino or a layer of merino and a layer of cotton for both the back and the front. I don't have a scanner or I'd put my 'pattern' (haha hmmm... might be abit of an ambitious name for it...) up for you!]]>

You could just make a gown (without sleeves) then sew a zip along the bottom to close it off when he is asleep, and to make nappy changing easier.]]>

I figured that since I am handy with a sewing machine and have some merino, I should give it a try but don't have a good pattern...only have gowns which if I was clever I could alter...but usually I am not that smart haha.<br /><br />Starting to get cold over here....last night was 20 degrees....brrr hehehehe.]]>
