My sis  just had a bub on 12 april, lots of stitches and was on AB's in hospital.  She got thrush, was told to use thrush (not the oral tablets) cream but not to use the applicator.

Yeah ill get the midwife to have a check when she comes on Monday, i was thinking would it hurt if i was to go and get some thrush cream anyway and give it a try ? It wouldnt affect anything ? I was going to suggest thrush as well...

Or you could have what I had... I got stitches and the scar tissue covered some up that hadn't dissolved and until they dissolved it was a scratchy itchy feeling!

Can you ask you mw to have a look? Or pop off to the doctors/nurse to get it checked?

I am wondering about infection as well. Or else if you had an internal tear that needed stitching that could be causing the itchiness as well? I'd get your midwife to check it out hun.

Hi Girls

Just wondering if anyone else had a itchy vagina after birth ?
