I contacted the sleepstore they suggested:
-a warmer sleeping bag
-dream feed at 10pm ( was doing it at 9.30)
-moving the first day sleep forward a bit, i.e. later.
The warmer sleeping bag worked a treat! Turns out she was getting cold as this is the coldest time in the moving. haved moved the morning sleep forward by 10 minutes.

Personally I would avoid feeding him at 5 if at all possible, I have found that (1) mucks up feeding for rest of day and (2) creates inconsisties and you run the risk of him wanting it when he wakes at other times in the night (at least that my experince) and given that he likes eating and is doign well on that front why muck it up. He doesn't sette after a cuddle or if he's just awake and playing I'd just wait till 6 before getting him up.

We found that once he was down to 2 he started sleeping a bit longer.

But we always treat anything earlier than 6.30am as night time waking - so a feed/drink or a cuddle and back to bed.

Good luck, I hate those early starts!

I tried everything to get him to sleep later. Now at 2.5 he sleeps until around 6am on a good day.

When he was littler I used to chuck him in bed with us and sometimes he would sleep or I would take him to the lounge, leave the lights dimmed and I would cat nap on the couch while he played until breakfast time at 6.45am. Now I just get up and do my jobs

Edited by Peanut
