Yah thats what the doc said too....she said some people can get their thumb to touch their hand (I can) and its a ligament thing.....and I always sprain my right ankle to the degree where I am unable to walk for months.....

She could be like me where (as described by a physio) my ligaments that hold my joints in place are longer than normal which makes me more flexible, i get alot of cracks and creaks anyone would think i was 90 lol the only downside is that due to the lack of support in my joints i have dislocated my left shoulder twice and been told if i do it again ill have to have it cut open and fixed. Oh really? Might try that...she does drink water thru out the day but I dont think its enough....she is on breast so I let her get away with it....but might try and give her a bit more!!! Roksana... from what I remember of Zaara, she loves to stand up etc... that can only be a sign that she'd be fine on her own two feet when it comes to walking.

If she was having trouble standing it would be a sign that the clicking was a problem I think. I'm 21 and for as long as i can remember my neck, back, knees and nearly every other part of my clicks. I have been to see doctors and they were not worried so i forgot about it.

I think some people are just naturally clickly my partner is the same as me.

Nothing else clicks except her ankles and I am worried that she wont walk etc...but doc seems to think that she will be ok. My ankles click some times too ....I wonder if she got it from me???

I am just worried about her walking!

Han clicks a lot too. I was worried about it to begin with but she seems fine!!!

I've always had knees that click, mum said I had it when I was a baby too and it doesn't really worry me. Hey Liz how old is Laura? Zaara is crawling and has been standing on her feet (me holding her) since she was a month old. She also loves to jump and most time she does and lands on her feet it clicks...

Go and see another dr and tell them you weren't happy with the first answer given. If you have medial insurance go and see a specialist that way. They may not want to send you to a specialist due to the fact that the letter maybe rejected and told to stay with the GP. Stupid health system.

Ok I have taken Zaara to the Doctors for this but I am not happy with her answer...so I thought I will ask you guys.

When Zaara stands (while I am holding or when ever she is holding on to stuff) her ankles click....bones click...and she still stands on her toes....and when she stands properly the clicking begins.

Doc said its fine and her joints seem fine and she is not in any pain so dont worry...but I am wondering if this is common and does this effect future develpment???
