Yes I had this and i still do. I never got an infection touch wood. No blotchiness or spots, and the 'itch' is more like a tickle. And it's *on* as opposed to *in* the boob, at least from what I can recall. Itchy skin (on) or itchy boob (in)? Any blotchiness? Blotchy patches are usually a sign of an infection starting, itchy skin could be a sign of sensitivity to wash powder (I could recommend a leading brand...-see my other posts).
I can remember getting itchy skin and it just being itchy skin. Maybe avoid soap on the boobs and give them a good water wash down in the shower for a couple of days.

Have any of you ladies ever experienced mild itchyness when breastfeeding? It seems to mostly be my right breast, but occasionally my left, and doesn't bother me when I'm not feeding Erin. It's not a big deal and I can't really see any changes or rash or anything, but was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
