I just use straight water on a microfibre cloth mop thing I got. I got one of those steam mops and its brilliant on our lino floors. Dunno about wooden. I havent found a good cleaner either! I use hot water and apple cider vinegar then (when I can be bothered) run over it with a microfibre cloth soaked in linseed oil. How do you clean your polished wooden floorboards?

I have a couple of ways but they never look very good IMO.
One way is hot water and floor cleaner with mop (looks cloudy and streaky) and another, we were given expensive hardwood spray cleaner - spray and wipe with microfibre flat mop. This makes the floor look nice for 5 seconds, then it just looks grimy again.
