She has a sleeping sack, and I've decided to put a pillow at the end of the bed. I know its not the best move but I want her to sleep without getting out of the stupid safety sleep.
I was too afraid she would get cold, she HATES sleep-sacks, but then she was getting herself out of it before sleeping every night anyway. So took it off to wash, and never replaced, she sleeps fine!

I bought her some thick polarfleece/cotton feetie pajama's, they don't breathe so not good for younger kids but she doesn't need any blankets with them.

I then made his bed (sheets and blankets) no longer than his body so that he couldn't go too far underneath the covers plus I didn't tuck the sides in tight so he couldnt' get stuck in there.
(I'm paranoid due to cot death on both sides of our family).

DS was a wriggler! So I ended up getting a sleeping bag also and that worked well and kept him warm.
