He reckoned that some pregnant women made that story up after that disease from cats to make her stop cleaning up the cats business.]]>

They are often not killed by disinfectants or freezing and drying. They are killed by heating to 70 degrees C (160 degrees F).<br /><br /><br />It says people can also get the toxoplasma cyst from handling or eating raw or undercooked meat, the things ya learn lol! but that shouldn't be a worry anyway]]>

Now that last bit wouldn't happen! lmao<br /><br />But yeah I'm guessing if it was only contact with it then gloves, sanitiser etc surely should help to prevent contracting it if the cat had it]]>

It's not like ya touch it lol ]]>

DH has to clean up after our cat, I won't go near it. If I absolutely had to I would wear gloves and then use hand sanitiser or something like that.]]>
