I agree, your wee man may turn back, but no harm in trying anyway!

Our bubs was breech and doctors wouldn't perform an ECV until after 37 weeks as they wait as long as poss to see if bubs will turn themselves and to not risk them turning back. When we went for our appointment, I didn't have enough fluid therefore we were unable to have the ECV after getting all prepped for it! DS never turned so c-section is was for me!

As others have suggested, there are heaps of things you can try at any time - apparantely swimming (& doing handstands in the water!), other exercises and acupuncture.

Hope your poor bladder gets some relief soon! I remember the constant pressure on my ribs!!

I know how you feel. When i was pregnant with my girl she turned breech at about 30 weeks and it was SO uncomfy. I couldn't wait for her to turn again. Which she did, not sure when though. Jack was transverse breech until 34 weeks - so I had a funny looking flat bump and got foot bumps coming out the side.

Nah you have heaps of time, Caden was breech at 32 weeks and was back head down by 37 weeks :)

ETA- but if you want to get him off your bladder, i found getting on my hands and knees and rocking through out the day helped turn Caden back the right way.

Definitely check out the spinning babies site for some exercises you can do. Worth a shot.

This baby was breech until 33 weeks, then went transverse until 35 weeks. He's been 5/5ths engaged for a week now and that is worse on my bladder than either breech positions were.

But baby will probably keep flip-flopping about for a few weeks yet.

At 24 weeks, I probably wouldn't physically try and turn but would look at some of the Spinning Babies stuff. I felt a lot better after I had heard Dylan had moved to head down. Now I have to get used to kicks near my ribs (which was really weird for a few days) - but hopefully he'll stay the right way now!

I would probably try turn him, but then again Lily was head down from early on just changed what side she liked being on iygwim. But that's just my opinion.
