It's not a dumb question at all I started bleeding the day before the pregnancy test (after spotting for a couple of days) and so come pregnancy test day, the full bleed was underway which meant I didn't have to wait for a period to start - all they needed was a definite negative result from the blood test which, of course, they got. Thanks guys (gals ) - our test was today. Sadly, we didn't get a positive from this cycle. We're ok though - we're realistic and know that the majority of the time, the embryos don't pull through.

We're jumping straight back on the horse (into the stirrups actually ) and a new cycle is starting today. Thanks so much    It went well today - both the thaw (yesterday) and the transfer this morning. The embryo was even transferred by my OB, which was fantastic and he got a picture of it in teh spli second between it shooting out of the cathetar and hitting my uterus. Very awesome. Will keep you posted - I have to wait a wee bit longer than 10 days, but only a wee bit. Watch this space! We're on day one of a frozen embryo replacement cycle, and oddly, this is I think the closest I'll come to knowing what it'll be like to TTC with a hope of pregnancy    I feel kind of excited (after months and months of freaking out, now that it's underway, I feel more anticipation - go figure!) but also aware that we might be at this a few more months.
