I would try a sticker chart reward system, I find them very effective for my 2 year old. I start off with a small chart with just a few stickers needed before the main reward, then make them bigger and bigger until we no longer need it.

I actually thought of that last night, as she refused a bath and is still wearing yesterdays skivvy. Lying in bed thinking to myself that maybe if I can get her dressed at night and if i'm lucky and she doesn't pee the bed (nappy refusal thing), then I don't have a fight the next morning.

Bath/shower her at night, then put her into clean clothes for her to sleep in (tell her it's a new exciting game)..... then get her up in the morning, and don't even mention getting dressed.... just go about the rest of your routine and then leave....

Don't give her the option to choose what shes going to wear. Don't worry about the jumper, just take it with you..

I'm not sure how old she is, but my son went thru a stage of hating the car seat, and grew out of it after a few weeks.

Every morning I now struggle to get clothes on bubs. She wants to run around naked. It took me 1.5 hours yesterday to get clothes on her, and I was 2 hours late for work. She went without knickers and socks (I gave up).

Any advice?

I've tried so far:
1. Back in the bedroom till you decide you want to put clothes on (for each excrutiating item of clothing i'm asking her to put on)
2. Waking her first thing in the morning and trying to get her clothes on as soon as she's up
3. Throwing her in the shower first thing in the morning then trying to get her clothes on while explaining it's cold (which always works for pajama's at night?)
4. We're going out (standing by the front door), so do you want to stay here by yourself while we go, because only people with clothes on are allowed to come
5. Letting her pick from 2 sets of clothing / knickers / socks / shoes
6. Being the mean Mummy and seeing if she will put clothes on for her Poppa
7. Putting her outside in the backyard nudies at 8am in the morning hoping that she will want her clothes on


Sometimes I can get clothes on her but not a jumper.

How the heck do you get a kid who refuses knickers and a nappy to wear her knickers and socks???

How do you get a toddler to get into the car instead of dragging them out, and using all your body weight and two people to get them strapped into their car seat screaming :(
