I liked...that guy who wasn't Clinton or Ben. I can only watch the bitchy stuff on Monday cause Lew watched Top Gear.
What i don't get is...if Vicotr was voted off, that's cause most people thought he wasn't so good. So WHY does he get to sing again. I mean, that was the reason he was voted off, so why annoy the public further?

that said, Ashlee shoulda gone but is a cutie so probably won't for ages. I totally agree about the judging - I said the same thing when Victor went before Ashlee. Still, they said there was about 1% in it, so it was pretty close. And while I have liked the original sound of Victors voice previously, everything about the Love child performance stank! Ashlee (IMHO) has the weakest voice, but the way Victor pranced around the stage with this huge smile on his face during a really serious song - well, it just looked awful! Ben should have been in the bottom 3 with Victor and Ashlee, not Toni.

Yeah Victor should not be gone. He had a voice that reminded me of Guy Sebastian off Australia Idol. Victor was so talented. I think all the teeny boppers are voting going on looks not talent. They shoul judge it like they do Rockstar Supernova where the judges choose who stays and who goes from the bottom 3 voted by the viewers.

I thought Cam was pretty good in the audtions, but I have to admit that I didn't like him as much on the night. I totally disagreed with the dumb comments he got. Do you mean that they chose the songs that the idols sang in the rounds for auditions, or in the 3 knockout episodes to get the top ten? If they do chose the songs then they are so wrong with all their comments about song choice!

I can't believe that about Becks - that seems totally dodgy. But I think their rule is to do with recording and a contract so she probably hasn't done anything wrong. But it would also explain my problem with her - I find the Mermaids group a little over theatrical in their approach to music, a little OTT and I think that is coming through in what I see and hear from her. Im boycotting Idol from now on - the MC from my wedding is Cams dad - and we all love his singing (we even played one of his songs for his dad at the wedding to thank him)....Cam has won so many awards including the golden guitars etc, sung with Topp twins at Tamworth, in shows etc ...and THEN the judges chose his song, told them how to arrange it and literally picked him to pieces saying how bad it was - and Frankie told him not to over perform, so he didnt, and then Frankie told him he hated country music - so Cam hasnt sung any country (only one of his abilities) and then the poodle comment was sooo unecessary...when Cam didnt get through I couldnt beleive it - he is so much more talented than some who did and he did all the judges wanted!
And then to read that becs is one of the Mermaids - I mean they are a professional singer group AND one of the members is Jo Cotton from True Bliss....anyone smell anything BAD!!!!
Im over idol - I was hoping it would go for greater things this year (and not just Cam) but they will have another flop on their hands....UGH!

I llike Kali best so far, with Matt a close second. Indira is good but you can't understand what she is saying (except for Freedom!), Becks was good, I just don't like her voice.

Aslee should be first to go - she is just too young to cope with the show.

OK so must admit to being secretly in love with Frankie Stevens But Maya's godmother told Willie he looks like FRankie Stevens, and his head grew about 4 sizes lol...

Anyways, did anyone else pick up last night that Frankie and Stables don't like Megan and she doesn't like them? IMO that was more entertaining than the performances...

Oh and I listen to Stables every afternoon on my way to pick up Maya from preschool. I think you'll find that they all would of practised as who ever made it through had to sing again.

I think the judges suck, surely there must have been better qualified people out there. That stables just needs to grow up, he's not funny at all and well where is True Bliss now, just goes to show she doesnt know anything about the industry. Personally, I think Ashlee is a pretty poor singer anyway. She is okay, but is undeveloped. Megan is just awful. And what does she know? Nothing! Stables seems to have a list of comments (aka insults) that he reads from, whether it relates to the performance or not. Frankie - well I always felt he was the weakest judge, sad that he is now the strongest!

I am actually enjoying some of the performances this year though. ANd I like to complain about it, so that gives me a reason to watch.

Jennz, my sister's flatmate love that X factor, they were singing along when she rang me yesterday morning (so Sunday night your time). Have to say I don't like the new judges - Stables really doesn't have the "it thing" to be a judge, he took over from Paul who was a music mananger he knew what he was talking about. The thing I don't like, is that they aren't being consturctive at all - it's not like "you need to move around a bit more", they'll say "you looked stupid just standing there". I haven't watched any of NZ Idol this time around...I'm sorry but I can't really see what a radio DJ who says he knows nothing and a one hit wonder girl have to offer in the way of expert judging.

I also got sick of how cruel they could be to people.
