I did the nachos thing last night hoping some spicy food might spark off labour but sadly it was just yummy and I'm still with child.

TMI ALERT


This is perhaps TMI but as I'm 37 weeks tomorrow, I've been planning a lovely sit-down meal, wine (for me as well cos I just feel like being naughty and what the hell now hey?) and a good session of knookie. I'm hoping all those prostaglandins make an impact on my cervix. I also think that I should add in a few chillies to get things moving. I've also been frantically cleaning the house today and washing the last of the baby bedding so perhaps I've been nesting???   I've never done the nesting thing before so I don't know, or perhaps I'm just getting organised and thinking it's nesting cos I want to give birth NOW.

I did read on another website that there is a more effective way of getting prostaglandins to influence your cervix and you know what that is???

INGESTING THEM - and guess how we are supposed to do that?

Yes of course the article must have been written by a man cos who else would suggest a heavily pregnant woman desperate to give birth should give their DH a blowj*b

Clover - sushi is really easy to make at home!! I had sushi yesterday. I'd maybe avoid the raw fish options but chicken or tofu? If you want the mayo, mayo is heaps easy to make at home as well - if you make it fresh and use immediatly you eliminate a lot of the risk factors. I went and got all the things and made the nachos and im SO DISAPPOINTED. Snickers bars and magnum almond ice creams for me. But I also am loving the sour cream thing too. What is it about preggers women and sour cream???

Fat chance of DH going down the 4 Square for me, he'd just tell me to walk some of that baby fat off my whale arse. He is adamant that only husbands in the movies go down the shops for their wives for craving control. I can't seem to convince him otherwise. Perhaps I'll get a petition going What do you think? Otherwise he's great but just not into doing the sappy sh*t.
