Have you tried calling a nurse or healthline? I've only had the cramping as braxton hicks while pregnant and I assume that you have already ruled that out somehow <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> If they are not painful, it sounds odd but I'd just see if things improve...with practice, as you say.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=18407">happymumma</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 35454<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 26 August 2010 at 8:30pm<br /><br /><P align=left>Sounds like one of the symptoms of endometriosis so worth checking with your GP as although pregnancy is meant to help I know people for whom it has become worse after pregnancy.</P><P align=left>Endometriosis (from memory) can cause cramping after sex, very painful periods (or no pain at all just to make things confusing!), heavy periods, bowel symptoms...and that's all I can remember off the top of my head.</P><P align=left>Definitely worth checking out.</P>]]>

But not after giving birth. <br /><br />And things definitely improve with practice, only in the last month has it not hurt. ]]>

Is this normal, or should I be talking to the GP about it? <br /><br />We probably only BD once every 2-3 weeks at the moment, so I don't know if it would improve with, err, practice? <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0">]]>
