My first DD was 27+4 weeks and weighed in just under 1/2 a kilo. Callum's were delayed slightly until he got to a bigger weight. So they were about a month behind his actual age but ahead of his adjusted age (he was 8 weeks prem).

I think they advised waiting (and I was happy to wait) because they do the BCG at birth here and he couldn't have that till a bit later. Then they just carried on with the immunisation schedule from there, though we've delayed a couple of others (eg MMR) due to travel and C being unwell when they were due and his doctor was more than happy to do that as well. Ashleigh was done according to her actual age. If you vaccinated your early baby, did you do it at the usual time or did you delay it by the amount of time they were early?

DS is due his first vaccinations next week but I dont know whether to delay them a bit.
