I had a visit from the Karitane nurse when Olivia was about 7 weeks old and she gave me some good "winding style" tips like holding bubbah teddy bear styles and gently squeezing (slow way of making any extra air move) or put baby in between your knees and gently rubbing its back. After weeks on end of 7pm-11pm screaming sessions and a whole bottle of gripe water we bought some Infacol and also changed to formula - Caitlin has never been better! Gripe waster is good too, I found it more useful for Olivia's sore tummy when she was teething, but the results of her burping faster and more often were with the infacol. I think gripe water might be on my list to get Michael does not havethat muh trouble, but anything to make it easier on him. Ive found Good Old WOODWARDS gripe water is vrey good too....and its been around for 100 years..Grandma told me they used to use it!

I wish I could get Blake to bring up his wind. He is useless!! It travels down and gets stuck in his wee tum and that when we get all the straining and unrest at night apparently! It will happen he is still little!

Ashlee almost never burps!! I don't know if that's because she's not bottle-fed, but I'm sure it wouldn't really make a difference? Maybe she's getting more efficient with her sucking?

For the last couple of feeds I haven't been able to really get Erin to burp, she'll take anywhere between 120-150mls (the usual), but then I'll spend forever burping her and get nothing ! Tried all the different positions I could think of this morning, and still nothing. It doesn't seem to be bothering her, and I did give her some gripe water as well to try and bring any wind up that might have been in there. I mean, like I said it doesn't seem to be bothering her, she has gone to sleep without much trouble... so is there any cause for worry?
