I would think it would be fine. I often use cake receipes to make cupcakes/muffins so would think it would work the other way too.

It would be totally fine. I have a really great chocolate cupcake recipe which makes the best cupcakes - but can i also use this recipe to cook a full size cake? Or would i be better just using a normal chocolate cake recipe.....? What would the difference be?
