My previous pregnancy was ectopic so we also had a scan at 6 weeks, this one confirmed the 25/01/11 date which I had worked out. The 12 week scan put it a day earlier as the 24th.

I admit I was surprised at the sudden jump of this latest scan given the previous ones were in agreement. Still it is all very fun and most of our predictions are based around less that scientific methods.

Doesnt really matter either way as this baby wont be going overdue.

It really depends if you had a regular cycle and ovulated on day 14 (which surprisingly enough not many people do). The Earlier you have a scan the more reliable it is so by 20 weeks it can easily be a week out either way.

And just to make things even funner every pregnancy is a different length so there is no way of knowing at what gestation your bub will decide to make an appearance. So basically what I'm saying is a due 'day' it a bit ridiculous, it should be a due week lol and even that will be a guess.

But for me my second pregnancy I was quite sure of my LMP but a 12 week scan pushed it back a few days and she was born closer to the scan date than the due date.

ETA: I'm a Aquarius/Capricorn cusp baby, I'm on the 21st of Jan

Edited by RachandJack

Original LMP EDD was 25/01/11 after this scan it is 17/01/11.

We are all having fun trying to guess due dates and gender. There are also a few of us who enjoy astrology and as the current dates sit on the cusp of Capricorn and Aquarious it makes it even more interesting.

So, I was just curious which others have found to be the most accurate theLMP or AUA EDD.
