Doctor's don't but you can get a list of MWs from him. Where about's in Wellington are you? Deciding on who is going to be your LMC - whether that's your GP a MW or an OB and getting in contact with them. Will depend on where you are in the country as to what's available. Nothing else to do.

Is your Dr going to be taking care of you throughout your pregnancy?
If not, your next job is to choose a midwife.
They tend to book up very fast so you might want to start ringing around asap.

Thanks I guess I should have mentioned we have a 3.5 year old son, so I dont have much if anything to buy. You're doing everything you're supposed to do.

My suggestion though would be to put together a baby budget! I.e. consider your finances, what you can save, what you need to buy and what you don't.

I just found out I was pregnant a week ago I had a dating scan on friday, turns out I am 8 weeks I have an appt with my Dr next week to discuss the NT blood test and scan. I have started taking a multi vitamin and folic acid.
