I haven't used any formula top ups since (had been using for the week prior at DS bedtime feed) so definitely works. Is shattering, but worth it as far as I'm concerned. Also am continuing to feed him once in the night, even though he doesn't wake up. This isn't a big deal as I always wake up anyway and is like a dremfeed for him as he doesn't wake up. If I don't feed him I notice my supply is less the next day.

I just wanted to add that often stress doesn't affect supply so much as it inhibits letdown - there are some great tips for speeding it up here, and here's a page which helps you to determine if it really is low supply. If you have a pump after each feed pump for 5 minutes to help stimulate your breasts to produce more. Drink plenty of water, eat lots of protein rich foods, rest lots, put bubs to the boob lots, try the milk flow spray from a chemist. There is a recipie for a smoothie in the breasfeeding thread, that is good for boosting supply. I would suggest the lactation cookies if you were able to replace the flour with something not wheat based. Lol I got all this from all the other ladies, I hope it helps

Edited by Aethalia
