I had my dating scan about 6 weeks and 3 days and they saw the heartbeat but only by doing an internal scan.

I had an early scan at 6w3days and whilst we did see a heartbeat, I was warned that there was just as much chance that we wouldn't at that point. In a way having the scan a wee bit later is a blessing because it means your chances are that much better of seeing it and obviously a bit more development too . Congratulations! With both of mine we've seen a heart beat at about 5.5 weeks. Hey guys
so i have to book a dating scan for prob next week, should i do it earlier in the week or later on?
