S-26 do a lactose free formula. thats what we got mack. we left him on it about 4 weeks but you could always just try one tin and see how that goes

Is there a formula that is lactose free? I can't stop giving him his milk but I'm sure its feeding it. Only one dirty nappy today so far...touch wood!! Hopefully it may have come right.

The last bout we had lasted for 7 days (joy) The Drs didnt seem to want to do anything to 'slow' things down but you do need to keep an eye on the fluids - do you have pedilyte?
Maybe go back to the drs when its been a week - have they taken samples already?

I have been told that in general if you have food poisoning/gastro etc not to have dairy or eggs. Mr 7 months has diarrhea. On day six now. How long does a bout ususally last for? Doctors won't do anything at the moment apart from letting it run its course. I know my babies health is more important, but he is fine apart from this and I am out of sick leave!!
