I agree Nathansmummy, Mark needs to be replaced. I quite often switch to 3 because I can't stand him (I think he's a nice enough guy but just not right for Close Up). I SO agree Mollycat. I don't watch it anymore though - I am loyal to Paul and boycotting now - really angry with TVNZ and refuse to watch. Anyone they get now just will be a big yawn. I just hope an alternative starts up that I can tune in to because I'm never watching Breakfast again I'm so annoyed.

I hope they get rid of the guy on Close Up - he is SO dull. When he interviewed Robin Williams, Robin was making jokes constantly but not one smile to crack his face in response - kept all his questions really serious. It was ridiculous.

Are they ever! I think maybe Koren and Ali, or Jack and Koren, and or Peter and Koren, and move a newbie onto the desk. I just switched it off, I know I'm mean not giving newbies a chance etc etc but I did yesterday and it just didn't entertain me anywhere as much

From what I've read between the lines I'd say Pippa won't be back, especially now.

They are doing a mega job interview/trial at the moment... they will never find a pair as good as paul and pippa.
