Lol isnt it amazing how they just know, my partner almost gets jelouse about the fact that the cat wants nothing to do with him and loves me more lol.

And i also have a escort to the loo day or night lol, and when im in the kitechen or even just watching tv he stares at me and if i ignore him he cries at me until i cuddle him lol.

Yep, my cat LOVED me during my last pregnancy. Was sitting on my lap as often as she could, snuggled up to the bump.
This time she snuggles up to me but I have the laptop on my lap more often so my lap ends up being out of bounds

I have found that out cat has become more clingy too and was wondering myself if it had anything to do with my pregnancy...he climbs up and sits on my lap and the last couple of nights he has slept on our bed right through the night...which he hasn’t done since he was a wee kitten!

It's like he is trying to say...'don’t forget about me!'

yup my two cats are generally obsessed. they sit on either side of me on the couch. if i am cooking there is one that cries until i pick him up and the other sits on a chair and watches. yep two of my cats became obsessed with me about a week after i found out i was preg, they wanted to sit with me all the time, would come into the bedroom and cuddle into me when i was resting before sleep time.. now if i'm sitting watching tv one or both will come sit with me and one in particular tries to climb all over my belly!

Yep my cat didnt really bother too much with me but about a week before i found out i was pregnant with all 3 of my kids she started to sit on my knee all the time and quite often turns all ferral on me and attacks me lol. She does come right after a few weeks but i noticed last week that she has started her attacking me again...i think she knows that bub isnt far away from being born. Mine weren't too bad although they did love to cuddle up to the bump and Lily did kick my cat in the head a few times who couldn't quite understand it until she arrived then they all wanted a nosey for about the first week and then lost interest in her. Although I must say my cat is very good with her now, she likes to pull his fur and he doesn't seem to mind - purrs away in fact lol!

But that's a bit off topic - I think it's normal but yeah my cats did like to follow me round though. Hey there all, i know this is going to be a bit out there, but my cat is really obsessed with me!

And only ever since i have been pregnant. He has always been a friendly, cuddly cat who wants attention, but now he just wants to climb on me and sit on me and lie on me when im in bed, i push him away but he just comes straight back i cant get up and walk any where with out him following me, even to check the mail!
I heard that cats know when women are pregnant but i ddnt think they were so obsessed about it! lol

Would love to hear what others think and if their cats or other pets have become a bit "clingy" since being pregnant.
