Because of this, I didn't discover I was up the duff till I was 23 weeks along (and only when I got, as I thought, fat). I had to take the weight-loss books I'd just got out back to the library and swap them for baby ones, to the amusement of the librarian on duty. :)

Seeing my daughter's beautiful face a day later at the scan made it all very real, very quickly.

Hope this doesn't sound smug to the poor nausea-sufferers; I've been very, very fortunate. I hope you have a lovely, easy pregnancy, too.

I was still not feeling as if I was really pregnant.

It was not until my 12 week scan that I actually started to be convinced that it was actually true and there really was a new life growing in me.

My only real signs of pregnancy during my first trimester was the EXTREME tiredness. I'm working full time and so would get home and basically fall asleep the minute my bottom hit the couch, for about and hour or so, and then eat and be ready for sleep again shortly after.
(without wanting to gloat. . .I did manage to completely avoid the dreaded nausea, thank goodness!)

Good luck!
