I really don't see how a midwife could mind. I know of some who do and personally on that grounds alone I wouldn't use them.
I strongly feel that your other children should be involved . They can listen to a heartbeat like anyone else and see a picture of the baby. yep I always took the oldest with me to them. My son has been to almost all of my midwife appointments. Hi!

I got my first midwife appointment tomorrow(8 weeks pregnant), but I haven't been able to find a babysitter for my 2 year old..do you think it would be ok if I brought her along?
