Day '21' is on Tuesday...

My Doctor is great - although is not testing for progesterone on day 2.

We are testing progesterone on day 21 along with thyroid.

Testing FSH, LH, Esteriol on day 2. Then we are meeting back with her a week later, to discuss more blood tests (she said basic to start), semen test for DH, plus she will refer me for ultrasound. I am very lucky that she is so great - and I've only been trying 4 months - she is very proactive!!!! Good luck for you!!!!

It needs to be 7 day post ovulation which is only day 21 for those very 'typical' people who ov on day 14. If you ov earlier or later, you need to adjust the day on which you get it done e.g. day 28 if you ov on day 21 or day 19 if you ov on day 13 and so on.

I am 36 years old and have been TTC since May 2009.

DH and I have started the ball rolling to get help. Our own GPs seem a bit clueless, so we have made a private appointment with Fertility Associates next month.

DH has been tested and no problems were found there.

I have to go for Day 2 and 21 tests. But I have some questions -

1. Am I correct that day 2 is the second day of red flow? (i.e. don't count any days of spotting before hand)

2. My Dr has written on the blood test form that I am to be tested for my progesterone level on days 2 and 21 - but from what I have read on the internet day 2 is about testing levels of something else (which is to do with egg supply). Should I mention that at the collection room so the time and test is not wasted?

Thanks in advance
