Gabrielle has this problem, I am sure it is allergies but I am yet to fix that. We went to the paed for something else about 2 months ago and she said I should use saline drops when it looks like it is getting gunky. Works quite well when I can actually get the stuff in her eyes. First sign of things looking yuck in her eyes and I put the saline drops in and it goes away. Trouble is that Gabrielle hates eye drops and its hard to get them in her eyes. But I also put a tsp of salt in about 2 cups of warm water, mix it a bit and then soak the face cloth in it. Then I wipe it over the eye that gets gunky. Are you breastfeeding? My lil girl (10 months) has now had this 3 times in the space of a month - no sooner do we get rid of it ) clear for around 4 days then its back again.

Today she has got it again after treating for a week - her cold even cleared up and its back again with High temp

Both times before we have been given eye drops for her (which cleared it)

I am over it and pretty sure she will be too...

Anybody has the same experience and what did you use to finally rid her of it..
