Maybe she will when she is ready then!

From memory my neighbours girl was like that, I remember trying to get her to stand and she'd just pull her legs up

Her hips are fine. She's a wee girl probably only 7 maybe 8 kgs. She's only just got into crawler size spozies!!!!

I haven't really thought about it until now. You hear about babie who only want to stand when being held. I think DS was a stander, but then he crawled at 8 months the bascially went straight to puling himself up and walked at 10 months.

If DD deosn't want to walk til 15 months that doesn't bother me.

This is almost exactly my DD - she also never bore weight on her feet right from birth (9lb2oz) and was crawling well before she could put weight on her feet. She also has uneven leg creases, still has one big crease in one leg and none in the other. Hips x-rayed and fine. A wee one I know, who had clicky hips, had this. She also wasn't rolling at about the same age. She may not like the feeling of putting weight on her feet, maybe a sensory thing. If its worrying you, I would check with the Dr. They may refer her for physical therapy or something. Just a thought, or it might be nothing. I'd go with the "probably nothing, but if it's worrying you, doctors visits are free" approach? Or perhaps ring plunket line?

kids vary so much if I remember correctly nephew still isn't standing unassisted at 14mths. He does weight bare if he is stood up however. (DD was an early walker so not much help)

If it is concerning you take her to the Dr, best to get her checked out and put your mind at ease. I think, I would have to talk to my SIL who is a physio that slightly longer leg isn't that big a deal, obviously depending on the difference, she thinks DD might have a longer leg and says that most people do, its only out by a small bit though.

Oh one thought I did have is when she has had her plunket checks and her birth checks were her hips ok? Were the rolls on her legs matching and do you ever hear clicks?

DD won't stand or put wieght on her feet when I  hold her is standing postion. Is it ok?
PAFT lady was here on Tuesday and suggested I take her to the doctor to get her checked out if she has somethign wrong with her legs. She wriggles then alot, and kicks at things, so she deffenatly go feeling etc. PAFT lady said she might have  one leg longer than the other .
It wasn't bothering me before but now it is.

When I put he in the JJ she just hangs there. I make sure it's at the right height and everthign.
