I used to give it before every feed. It was great. In the first day you can give it 2 sprays, 15 mins apart up to 6 times. This will help get on top of it. Don't think that's the issue as I seem to have an abundance of milk now.

I don't think she has reflux as she's ok sleeping once she's settled and she plays fine on her back.

I'm finding wind an issue now that we're on track with bf as well. It took a bit of practice on the bottle for her to get the hang of sucking now she's going great.

DS did have reflux as well which would have contributed to his uncomfortable state.
I ended up going dairy free as well which seemed to help his reflux and not be so gassy.
Now I am able to eat everything that I gave up, including all dairy and caffiene and chocolate (yippee!!) So over time as his digestive system matured he could handle things better.

Hopefully your little one won't take as long to cope with it. I never realised that wind could be such a problem, it was never talked about at the ante natal classes I went to. I found it was harder to deal with the wind issues than breastfeeding once we got going with that.

She is a good burper tho, and if it wont come up I give her some water, not much, but when I hear her tummy gurgle I know that it has reached the wind, then i leave her lying down for about 30 secs, sit her up and viola a burp. Also if her nappy is on too tight/ digs in alot when she sits, she wont burp no matter what, so I have to strip her sometimes to get the wind out.

He is still now but is doesn't bother him so much now.

I tried pretty much everything: infacol, gripe water, homemade fennel gripe water. I used Sharlene Pooles burping technique which we had the most success with (can google for this) I used to burp him when he woke up, before a feed, during, after and often when he was playing and then try to get heaps our before he went down for a nap. During those early months, no matter how much I burped him , he would generally always wake crying with a burp to get out.

I also avoided any spicy food, vegetables like brocolli, cabbage and cauliflower, coffee and chocolate.

Somtimes lying him down for a bit and then picking him up and rubbing his back in an upwards motion would bring a burp up. I understand your pain with a windy baby, my DS used to get so uncomfortable with it, it was horrible to watch. I hope you find a solution works.
