Awesome.<br /><br />Here's something weird for you guys, I really like innies as oposed to outies but my belly button is SOOO far in, you can't see the bottom and I used to get infections in there from not being able to clean it! I would have to pull it apart with tweezers and clean and dry it every week or so..<br /><br />So.. at 20 weeks I'm looking forward to finally being able to see the bottom of my belly button!!]]>

My belly button never even went flat when I was pregnant (despite the 9lb baby lol), it was still an innie. Although I do have a seriously deep belly button, had never seen the bottom of it until I was UTD!]]>

I have an innie, or a flattie at the moment lol.<br />I always thought they tied it too, then the whole cord clamp thing was explained to me and so on and yeah, mystery solved lol.]]>

I thought that the midwife/dr tied a knot and that made the belly button!  But no...they just clamp the cord and when it falls off, there is a belly button underneath. Though they said if she still had it at 1 (the hernia) then they would operate. <br /><br />But def just how it heals. Outies are umbilical hernias. I remember when Lily was 5 weeks old the doc asking if I knew what it was (He pointed to her belly button) and I said 'An outie...?' he laughed and said "No, it's an umbilical hernia." to which I thought <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif" border="0"> OMG!! ]]>
