We did it with empty water bottles (the big ones that go on a aqua cooler) and a rubber glove and a rubber band. Ingredients varied but they were basic stuff from the supermarket and our wine made a whopping 4 week vintage before we guzzled it. The last 2 inches in the bottle was sludge though so an expert hand at pouring was needed. lol. I could probably find some recipes somewhere.

He has wanted one for ages. I got it from PnS they are approx $85 at the moment & it has all you need from memory. He has just bottled a brew. It takes a week in the barrel & about 3weeks in bottles. He has it in my hot water cupboard. I am going to get him some beer glasses with his name (xxx's beer & xxx's brew) for xmas well so is the plan

I don't think it is cheaper as you make 30 bottles & we often buy beer also but the big thing is he is very proud of his beer & gets great satisfaction from making it. There are so many different ones to make & it is a great hobby.

Boring!
