They hold about 180mls, have a leak-proof screw on top and stack neatly in the freezer <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0"> (they came in a pack of 10 but I can't remember the price, did get them from Farmers in one of their 30% sales though)<br /><br />... Anyways, I'm rambling... oh I have also stored some EBM in a ice-cube tray, for when I need smaller portions, and have previously used little snap-lock bags.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=22974">KatzWtgn</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 37073<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13 December 2010 at 2:00pm<br /><br />Yeah -- I frequently use EBM for up to 5 days in the fridge.  <br /><br />I think the MoH guidelines are really conversative and, frankly, make it hard for those of us who really want to try having our baby on fully breast milk and no formula.<br /><br />I'm sure I've read La Leche League publications (can't put my finger on it now, but think that it was "Nursing Mother Working Mother"), which talk about how breast milk's white cells actually destroy bacteria so it's so much more stable than formula or pasteurised cow's milk, and up to 8 days is ok -- you'd drink refrigerated cow's milk of that age.<br /><br />(Off soapbox now! <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> ]]>

Are you able to take it frozen? Then if you think you'll need it defrost it there? From memory Jake would have about 150ml at this age (9 weeks) per feed... does that sound about right?<br /><br />We will be gone 6-midnight at the latest and he normally cluster feeds in the early evening and then goes down 9-9.30pm for the night (well until the next feed anyway LOL) So was thinking a 150ml bottle for the early evening then 2 50 ml bottle for the "cluster" period if he needs them, then another 150ml for the 9pm ish feed??? With maybe another 50ml just in case???<br /><br />Gah, I have no idea LOL]]>
