Re the heartburn - I had it really bad and although DD isnt completely bald, she doesnt have much in the way of hair either.

Didnt really notice the moving during labour either - bit busy for that

No heartburn with my first 2 and like BL's first 3, little baldies til well over a year old (DS didnt need his 1st haircut til after he was 2, and at 18 months my 2nd isn't showing signs of needing a haircut anytime soon either)

Have had wicked heartburn the last few weeks so will be interesting... BUT I've put that down to bubs being breech, I reckon having a head jammed up there nice and tight would be a plausible cause as opposed to hair/no hair. Especially since bubs somehow flipped overnight and today theres been no heartburn!!

oh and the heartburn theroy, im stuck with as i dont believe the old wives tales. however.

I don't remember if DS was moving when in labour....probably a bit more interested in myself at that point lol.

I don't remember with my first but my other two would sort of move inbetween contractions but not after transition (well, they might of but I was focusing on other things)
And the heartburn = hair thing....I had mild heart burn with all 3 and they all had quite a bit of hair..I"ve got it the worst this pregnancy but I guess its coz theres two. NO TRUTH to the old wives tale cos I have bad heartburn with all of my pregnancies and none of my babies have much hair!!!

Big fat NO !!!
with my daughter I had heartburn that would wake me up at night and almost had me in tears.
She was as bald as an egg until she was 2.

My son I had lots of heartburn and he had lots of hair

My friend had no heartburn, and her daughter came out looking like she was wearing a wig

My friend had a lot of heartburn with her son and he was bald.

And so on, I know plenty of people who had heartburn really badly and not a hair on babies head.

Re: heartburn and hair - with Ollie I had a little heartburn and he only had a little bit of hair. Had very little heartburn with my son, he had what would be considered a fair whack of hair.

Had extreme heartburn with my daughter

DD was very active during labour. She was not only kicking but i could see her moving around.

DD did, but was rather, or VERY quiet! During labour he definitely was, I was VBAC and was suppose to be monitored a lot but my mw who is awesome would instead just ask if I had felt him moving and occasionally stuck the doppler on me, I only ever felt him move between contractions. I don't think so either. Too busy travelling down the birth canal. However, I swear while I was pushing he hooked his feet into my ribs as if to try and stay in!!
