I thought about going to the front with it but the instructions say really blatently that it must go to the back and not fall in any cracks in the seats etc etc. Though now thos damn tether straps will have to be negotiated when i put bubs in and out. Its a convertible though so at some point it'll flip around and be a lot easier so its not all bad news!

And baby on the move (thanks Kalimirella) as there is not one locally. We don't have any of the big baby stores, actually - just pumpkin patch and farmers. We have a VTNZ though - do they check?

I installed mine today with great difficulty, and i think its right but the tether strap is probably about 2 inches too short for my big station wagon and i think it *might* be pulling the carseat up a little bit, though i can't be sure....i do know that its got no movement in it at all, can't even lift the corner half a cm to move the carseat cover around so i can't be too wrong, surely!
