i would just cut the cakes and use coloured fondant all over to cover and decorate.

Hey ladies, hoping you can help, I have offered to bake my nephews 2nd birthday cake, and he wants a plane (or at least mum does!) I am struggling to either find a pattern that I like, or a tin.
Last year it was nice and easy as I did a train and found a train cake tin.
