Plunket advised me that if he didn't like tummy time it wasn't necessary to put him through it as he'd develop the strength anyway...and he seems to have.  I wouldn't worry too much.<br />Now he's straining to sit up and roll over every opportunity he gets!<br /><br />Just wanted to add that we sometimes do 'aeroplane' with him resting on my shins and I bend and straighten my legs when lying on my back...he seems to love that, and he has to keep his head up!<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Mealz79</span>]]>

I have one of those little curved pillows that props nicely under him although he does just like to use it as a pillow. You may have already tried thus but our paed suggested tummy time with a rolled up blanket under baby's chest when starting out with tummy time - it helps lift their chest off the ground slightly while on their tummy making it easier to look up and around.. It has made a huge difference to my boy's tum time skills. Other thing that he will try his best to lift his head for is a soft play mirror. Otherwise I also find he likes tummy time on my chest - lifting his head means he gets a smile from me!!! Hope some of this helps!!]]>
