Kaela's about the same age as your DD and just likes wearing clothes (and putting them on herself) for the sake of it. Maybe keep a couple out as dress-ups and keep the rest away. I wonder how she figured out where to put them on? Im having a similar issue at the moment where my DD got some knickers for Xmas but I haven;t started the TT back up again yet (next week's problem lol) and I didn't want her wearing them yet. She took off her nappy today and put them on herself and then wet her pants within half an hour. She went through 3 pairs today before I'd had enough and put her back in a nappy. Maybe put some knickers on her teddy or her dolly and tell her that when she is a big girl and goes wees on the potty or in the toilet she will get to wear them but she can't wear them yet coz the wees will make them all wet and yucky. I've just started putting DD in knickers when she is outside, saves on a nappy especially when she jumps in and out of her paddling pool and means that any poo is contained! She hasn't wet them yet but I am sure that she will figure out that if she wees in them then she will get wet.

I wouldn't think wearing them over her nappy would confuse her. I use frilly knickers over DDs nappy when she is in a dress and they are pretty much the same thing. Whilst sorting out the box of clothes-to-grow-into, DD discovered knickers. She thinks they are WONDERFUL! Got so excited and promptly pulled them on over her shorts, two legs in one hole and waddled around like a penguin

She isn't ready to toilet train yet, so don't want her just wearing knickers. But I'm afraid that wearing them over her nappies will confuse her, and she'll learn she can do wees in her knickers?

Any thoughts? Can hide them again tonight while she's sleeping and remove them from the equation totally too!
