Do they know why they stayed high?
Was it maybe a short umbilical cord or something like that? Do you have a narrow pelvis or anything? or did they just not give your babies enough time to descend?

Thanks ladies, due to have 2 c-sections, they don't want to me risk having a long labor due to the risks of rupturing etc, and since both girls stayed high during labor they don't really want to risk it, so i guess it's a wait and see, not long to go, 10 weeks max

Yeah,its up to baby whether they engage or not,not really much you can do, you can make sure you are doing things to encourage baby being head down on the left side,as thats the best position for them to engage easily,lying on your left side at night etc, but thats really about it.

None that I am aware of and considering its normal for sub pregnancies for baby to not drop UNTIL labour then I would be pushing for a "trial labour" anyway.... (given all is well and that is your only issue!!!!).

I engaged during my week long latent stage with Ollie.

I'm not sure you can help make a baby engage either. I'm 40 wks and my baby is still not properly engaged, going up and down all the time. Hay Ladies,
Just wanting any tips to help in getting baby to engage, as i really want to try for a natural birth, as this is our 3rd and last baby and i've had 2 c-sections, both times i dilated fully, but bubs stayed very high, so if this bubs drops/engages, then i have a better chance of being allowed to labour, otherwise it will have to be a planned c-section, I'm 30weeks at the moment.
