We had to start doing that as bubs would protest afterwards too because he was hungry! Also if its really close to bed time a bath can actually tire them out so maybe its pushing him past the limit? just a thought!

I think its cos they're reminded of being all warm, wet and safe in utero. Then all the cold air touching their skin is just a god-awful shock to the system!

I just put him straight on the boob still wrapped in his towel tonight and he calmed so maybe it is just not liking being out.
I might try the morning bath, but my husband loves to give him a bath and he goes early so we shall see. don't want to take away his precious time with his son!

His stomach goes all hard and he is nearly inconsolable for a good 30 minutes.
Tonight I put him on the boob and he calmed and drank and was fine...

Is he expressing his displeasure at being taken out of the bath or could he be having some bad tummy ache somehow linked to the water???
I'm not too worried about it, just rather surprised that one so young can already be telling me rather loudly that he wants to stay in the bath!!!

I think he is rather a big time water baby!
