I also want to add that my last AF was quite light and only went for 3 days. Does this indicate problems too?
Also now have dark brown spotting, this is such a weird cycle!

Well, they started me on clomid (a drug that helps you ov). That works for most people, so hopefully if you had any problems, something like that would get things on track straight away. After eight months, if this cycle ends in a BFN, perhaps it's worth getting your bloods done to check whether you're oving? That's the best way to be sure. I initially thought I was - because AF would arrive, even though my cycle was irregular - and it turned out I wasn't at all. In my case, OPKs were next to useless - I'd get nothing, or sometimes false positives (as in, I knew they were false positives because I'd get strong positives twice in a cycle weeks apart)

Hey thanks heaps for ur reply. I used to chart but i drove myself insane and became obsessed so I had to stop.

Hi Laurz,
It's hard to tell, it could have just been that you missed the surge, or perhaps you didn't OV. I don't OV every month, and the clearest indication I have each month is my temps, as I am charting, alot of people prefer not to chart as it can start to consume your life a bit, however for me I am a bit of a control freek so need to know!! Means that if I know I didn't OV I don't stress during the TWW.

DH and I have been TTC for about 8 months now and the only smigen of hope was one month I got a +HPT then two days later AF arrived so unsure if early miscarriage or what anyway we are trying for #3 and this past month I took an OPK 3 days before I normally OV and 3 days after just to make sure, problem is that I never actually got a +!! For 2 days the line got almost as dark as the Control line but never actually as dark.
