I went to my GP in the end who prescribed Pinetersol solution and it was a god send. I used it in the mornings in the shower and washed my skin with it but you can also add it in the bath and aside from the strong smell of it, it was fantastic and I never had any problems after that. You may be able to buy it over the counter, might be worth checking out. All the best

    Author: tiptoes
Subject: 38081
Posted: 19 February 2011 at 9:15pm

Is there a rash too or just itchy stretch marks? I got PUPPPS which is a pregnancy rash and I could only ever find things to help temporarily. Icy cold water with a little lavender in it. Baby nappy rash creams and powders helped, also calamine lotion. If it's just the stretch marks I'd probably just try and make sure your tummy is well moisturised. I started off using aqueous cream as it's nice and mild. In fact I'm using it on excema at the moment and it helps that too.

I found the middle of the night the worst and kept wheat packs in the freezer and they were bliss till they warmed up. Later I discovered a hot water bottle filled with icy water stayed cold longer.

Hopefully it eases soon!

I have tried bio oil and palmers organic scent free cocoa butter to ease this but to no avail.
Has anyone any other suggestions that they have tried and found worked?
