Hi hun,

I'm with Tishy on it being the best $50 you'll spend (or $55 in our case). We have someone once a fortnight and it's such a lovely treat! (We used to have an incredibly messy flatmate and as I was the only one who ever lifted a finger, we got cleaners!)

We have a lovely couple from Green Acres. We chose Green Acres as they are a reputatable company, and you are covered by their insurance should anything get broken, or go missing. (If you choose a one man band you wouldn't be covered for these things so it's worth a little extra)

Working full time and having kids alone at weekends is hard work!

I only work 3 days a week and find I can easily justify having a cleaner.
Best $50 p/w I pay for sanity!

I don't know about Auckland but I know a lot of companies in welly do weekly/fortnightly/monthly services.

Has anyone used a cleaner or cleaning service on the North Shore?

What do they charge per hour?

I hate admitting this but I just cant cope. I'm working full time and am on my own with the kids on the weekends. I'm managing the cooking, the laundry and the every-day stuff like the dishes & vacuuming but I really need help to get my house back in shape.
