yep - I gave Healthline a call and they said that it should be 3 doses as close to 8 hours apart as possible. So one at bedtime and the next at breakfast.

Thanks Miss Shell - I was thinking that two doses today and the full three tomorrow would be the best. I hope that they kick in quick, poor wee thing.

Such rotten timing - she has been invited to two birthday parties this weekend and one is a pool party. It is a shame as it is the first parties for her friends and nothing to do with big sister. I'd probably just give her one more today and then three tomorrow. She's probably still going to be getting it, on average, once every eight hours, which is the important thing.

I'm no pharmacist or doctor though! That's just what I would do.

EDIT: Had a thought - can you call Healthline and see what they would recommend?

Poor Sophie has been to the Doctor today and she has got a chest infection and is on ABs for the first time since she was about 5 months old

She is onAmoxycillin three times a day. She had a dose at about 11.30 after we got the script filled.
