Hopefully lol! The specialist said I would probably dilate the rest of the way really fast so we will see. Mind you its wasn't the dilating I had a prob with last time (8 hours from very first little niggle to fully dilated) it was R turning his head sideways and getting it really stuck (or my pelvis doing it for him) so its a wait and see if it happens again, fingers crossed for it doesn't. Not long now until we know one way or the other tho! eeeek

I had one about a week or two ago, so no where near as far along as you. I had to speak to the clinic about 4 times before they convinced me that it was safe to do during pregnancy. It must be fine if they are wanting to do it. In any case even if it did make your cervix diliate or anything like that your far enough along to be fine. I had one when pregnant with DS, but I'm probably not much help as I was only about 8weeks along.
I would assume however, that they wouldn't put you or baby under ant undue risk, and would think they would discuss any possible risks first. I had some bleeding last week (that was coming from my cervix) and because of my history 6 years ago of CIN3 cells and having a lletz loop biopsy they are wanting me to have a colposcopy and get it checked next week.
