weve had the same thing, my girl who is 20 months was getting over croup about 2 weeks ago, had 4 nights of random vommit that was undigested, and really yuck nappies, but was fine during the day, then 2 others in the house had a gastro bug since, so was just how she dealt with it i think.

No idea, but my boy has done this twice in his life, once when he was 16mo, he vomitted morning and night bottles for 3 days but was happy and fine and eating during the day, and this past weekend he vommitted both Friday and Saturday nights, but happy as during the day. The whole family has had Gastro so I'm guessing it was just a stomach bug, and maybe thats his body's way of dealing with it. So DS 20-months has woken up the past three mornings covered in vomit and with an explosive poo. But during the day he's fine - no poo and no spew.
