I think the recommendations are to have less than 200mg a day, which is quite a few cans of coke anyway, i'm just trying to be extra good!

Swiss Water Processed, so no nasty chemicals. You can buy it as beans, grind it yourself and make your own delicious, very low caffeine coffee. And they deliver nationwide :-) (Lucky me, I work about 5 minutes walk from their shop!)

BTW I use one of these (http://www.coffeesupremeshop.com/devices/filters/swissgold-coffee-filter-one-cup.html) at work and it makes the cleanest most delicious tasting cup!

Happy to help (and no, I don't work there! Just a faithful customer :-))

I guess I try and apply that to everything, emphasis on try as it doesn't always work with things like wine, chocolate and chips! But most days, I will have a coffee and maybe a cup of tea in the afternoon sometimes. I also drink green tea which has caffeine but I figure (hopefully) its benefits outweigh the caffeine! I also LOVE peppermint tea, and drink that a bit too. I agree that when TTC you still have to live, but aspartame is not good for us anyway, let alone TTC!

I've read conflicting things about caffeine and fertility so I just keep it to a minimum (for me anyway) rather than cut it out altogether.

As jem says I wouldn't be going anywhere near aspartame but more for health reasons than fertility ones.

But then I read heard that they use so many chemicals to take the caffeine out of coffee that it freaked me out so I stopped that too. Now I drink a coffee substitute called Aromalt. Its fine, all I need is a hot drink in the morning and I'm happy. I had a cup of coffee last week as a treat and holy moly, I felt like I was on drugs! It took all day for it to wear off - hideous. Never again!

I usually have a coffee in the morning and one or two teas during the day. I don't drink coke and have chocolate maybe 3 times a month and just a small piece at that. I might look at cutting down my coffee/tea intake since it sounds like it will help.

Plus I cant drink coffee either since it turns me into what i can only describe as a toddler on a week long sugar and p high! sooo not pretty lol
