Yep ur most fertile the first month when you come off the pill well your suppose to be lol i wasnt lolol

I came off the pill after 10 years on it and conceived right away - 2 weeks later!
Actually I was told you are most fertile straight after you come off the pill. My doctor said that the minute you come off the pill your fertility will return to whatever it was before you went on the pill...so in other words if you are the type to fall pg straight away then you will, if you are the type that takes a little longer naturally then thats what will happen.

Hi Sars,

Well, everybody is different of course, but I came off the pill in July, and got pregnant straight away. So it definitely does happen.

The only thing that's been mentioned to me as an "issue" is that it's harder to tell the likely date of conception and the due date when you don't know what your normal cycle is.
The only thing I did beforehand was start taking folic acid supplements.

Oh, and I do have to say, I'm now 10 weeks preg and I am getting lots of hormonal pimples at the moment! Bummer. Hi there, this is the first time for me on this site, so far i have found it really interesting!!

I am getting married in 5 and a half weeks time and have been off the pill for 3 months now getting my body ready for TTC once we are married.

There is one small problem though, the pill i was on previously was for my skin (Estelle) and since now my skin has been fine being off the pill. Only now i've just started to get my hormonal pimples back and don't want this for the wedding at all.

So anyway i have decided to go back on the pill for the reminder of the time before i am married to clear up my skin. my question is do you think this will affect me TTC when we do in November? I don't want to do anything to jepordise that and make it harder for my body to concieve. Do you think it's okay for me to start TTC straight away after coming off the pill?
