Also Jess, try a different pill for the bleeding, that will help with the cramping pain may also stop everything thou. There are a lot out there and some dr's only give the cheap ones first and IMO I think they do more damage than good to most people. I had rmy endo return after I had Bailey I had stage 2 on my bowel and left overie, I was on the waiting for for another lapo when I discovered I was pregnant this time!

Yeah it is, my mum had it big time and if it could of been diognious(sp?) then my nana (mum's mum) probably had it. My Mum had bad endo in between having us lot, she had a couple of d and c's in between kids, and I know she used the copper IUD as contraception in between time but not sure what effect if any that had on the endo.

She did manage to have 4 of us tho, then when my youngest brother was 2 had a full hysterectomy as not only did she have endo, but had also developed some lovely precancerous growths.

Is endo hereditary do you know? Just out of curiosity. The thing is im very anti a mirena coz i wanna get pregnant again and with my PCOS last time it took a year and fertility drugs. Mum had endo, PCOS and cervical cancer at 27 so had a full hysterectomy im thinking ill go the same way once im finished having a family.

Jess, I got it again after having Andrew. I found the pain to be worse than the first time I had it and I was taking heaps of time off work just because I couldn't move. If you do have it again, I would suggest having something like the Mirena put in you and it stops the bleeding or makes it very light, if you meet the critera(sp?) then it will only cost you the inputting of it - or if done at the hospital it's free. It is the first thing I am having done after this baby. I have also been told that I may be heading for a hystorectomy (a full one as well) as I was completly covered in it all over everything the second time.

Get it checked out, ask you dr when you see them for a referral straight away and that it is high priority, as some DHB's aren't taking anything that isn't high.

Has anyone experienced this?

Story goes i have had 2 laps for endo and the last one i was diagnosed with Stage 3 endo on my bowel and it was starting on my ovaries.

Before i had it removed i used to suffer from horrid periods and really sore tummys and would be visiting the loo lots like i had IBS.

When i had it removed that disappeared but now since i have given birth to Ella i have been experiencing it again and its horrible.

Has anyone had recurring Endo. How do u know it was the endo what other signs did u have and when it came back was it worse? Im yet to get my period and am worried about that to coz i would spend most of my time on the couch or in bed in pain

I was actually told once when i went to family planning that i am supposed to be on special meds coz when i had my period i was passing fairly sized clots, the dr said it was classed as hemoragging and the meds were spose to stop that.
